T20 World Cup
Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played this year. ICC has released the schedule of T20 World Cup 2024. For the first time, 20 teams will participate in this World Cup. These 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups. This World Cup will start from June 1. T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in 9 grounds in USA and West Indies. The first match of T20 World Cup 2024 will be played between USA and Canada on June 1, 2024. A total of 55 matches will be played in this World Cup. If for any reason it rains, an extra reserve day has been added for the semi-final and final matches.
For the first time, the USA cricket team will also play a match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. It also remains to be seen what kind of feedback ICC gets for organizing Cricket World Cup in USA for the first time. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 was won by the England team. The first match of the Indian cricket team will be with the Ireland cricket team on 5 June 2024 in New York. The Indian team has been placed in Group – A.
ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Format
20 teams will participate in this World Cup. 20 teams will be divided into groups of 5 each. By doing this there will be 4 groups. Top-2 teams of each group will reach Super-8. In Super-8, 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 4 each. The top 2 teams of both the groups will play the semi-finals. The team that wins the semi-final match will then play each other in the final.

ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Venue
T20 World Cup will be organized in USA and West Indies. Matches are to be played in 9 grounds of these two countries. In this, cricket matches will be played at 3 places in USA while matches will be organized at 7 places in West Indies. The USA cities are New York, Dallas, and Florida while the West Indies will be played in Barbados, Antigua, St. Vincent, Trinidad, St. Lucia, Antigua, and Guyana.
Men’s T20 World Cup Schedule
ICC has released the schedule for the T20 World Cup in which a total of 55 matches will be played. The first match will be played between USA and Canada on 1 June 2024 while the last match will be played on 29 June 2024.
